On Friday, March 5, CDT will be holding its 3rd Annual General Membership Meeting in conjunction with the State Bar Collaborative Law Conference. Unlike the Conference which will be presented in a webinar-style format, the General Membership Meeting will be a live format meeting on Zoom from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. It will be a great opportunity to connect virtually with Collaborative friends from around the state and hear what CDT has been doing for you in the last year.
Since the start of this annual meeting two years ago, CDT has received positive feedback regarding the information shared by the Board at these meetings. Our current President, Julie Quaid, will share an overview of the efforts of the organization to navigate through COVID. Thereafter, Treasurer, David Brunson, will update the membership on the status of our financials and CDT Committee Chairs will share important information about the progress made by the following committees: Fundraising, Marketing/Website, Forms, Education and Training, Membership, and the Divorce Task Force.
In addition, the Credentialing Committee is excited to announce during the Membership Meeting, the addition of the new class of Credentialed and Master Credentialed Collaborative Professionals. Collaborative Credentialing by CDT requires a commitment to Collaborative Practice through Collaborative education and training, significant Collaborative case experience, and for Master Credentialed Professionals, a demonstration of leadership and service to the Collaborative community.
Finally, the recipient of the 2021 Gay G. Cox Award for Excellence in the Practice of Collaborative Law will be revealed. Each year, one deserving individual is selected for his or her unique contributions to the Collaborative movement. This year’s award will be presented by our 2020 award recipient, Camille Milner.
The CDT Board hopes all CDT members will join us for this live event which is free of charge.
