CDT's Board of Trustees met Friday, November 3, 2017 in Austin. The Education, Training and Credentialing committee reported that all applications for 2017 have been received and given an initial review. Advanced Training is scheduled for June 15, 2018. The Marketing committee reported analytics from The Crouch Group showing that visits to our CDT website and Facebook site have increased substantially over the past year. The Finance committee reported their recommendations for raising money to support the CDT marketing campaign and other CDT activities. The Treasurer’s report indicated that additional funding beyond membership dues is needed to maintain and expand our CDT marketing and education campaign in Texas. The Policies and Procedures committee submitted drafts of four policy and procedure papers for consideration by the Board of Trustees. Each draft was discussed and returned to the Policies and Procedures committee for revision in light of Board recommendations. The next scheduled Board meeting is March 21, 2018 in Austin prior to the Spring Conference.
