Camille MilnerName: Camille Milner

Date and Place of Birth: Fort Worth, Texas; December 24, 1958

Family: Tim Crouch, husband, and two sons, Charles (28) and William (21)

Education: UT Law School; graduation 1983; UNT, B.A. History & Political Science 1980

Firm Name: S. Camille Milner, P.C.

Member of Collaborative Divorce Texas since: Charter Member since January 2004

I started practicing Collaborative Divorce because: I wanted to help families transition to a new stage without being destructive to them.

What I like best about this job: I see miracles in my office when a couple reaches out to each other and find a reconciliation of their relationship, even if it isn’t being married to each other.

My hobbies are: reading, sailing, traveling. Ok—and watching Big Bang Theory and The Nanny

My last meal would consist of: Veggie Moussaka and rhubarb pie

My favorite restaurant is: Green Zatar in Denton

The most interesting thing I have ever done is: Take a two-week vacation, sailing on the Queen Mary, then traveling around England all by myself.

The greatest influences of my life have been: My grandmother (Ma-maw) and my law degree

I drive a: 2016 White Ford F150

I wish I drove a: My 2007 Ford F150, which got totaled; I was going to keep it until I died and be buried in it until it predeceased me.

I am currently reading: “Marriage: A History” and “The Way We Never Were” both by Stephanie Coontz

Favorite book: “Jane Eyre”

Favorite song: “Happy” by Pharrell Williams

Favorite band/musician: Handel and Bach

4 Fantasy dinner guests – (living or dead): Thomas Jefferson, Buddha, Mohammed and Jesus

Favorite quote: “Reason teaches you…” a quote from my beloved grandmother; that pretty much covers all the questions in life, doesn’t it?

My friends say my greatest asset and greatest weakness is: my empathy

The most important advice I could give a teenager is: Spend time figuring out who you are, recognize how wonderful that person is, and continue rediscovering yourself all your life.
