New CDT Membership Benefits

As Chair of the Membership Committee, I and our committee members are always considering ways to provide you with greater benefits for your membership with Collaborative Divorce Texas. With our enhanced social media campaign that was launched just this last year, we have more and more people coming to our organization’s website to learn about the benefits of a Collaborative Divorce and find Collaborative Divorce professionals to represent them in the process. If you don’t have your membership profile up to date, you are missing out on great opportunities to represent clients who are looking for a Collaborative option.

One benefit we provide is free access to our organizational logo for those practice groups with 100% of their members who are also members of Collaborative Divorce Texas. Again – that is FREE marketing materials that connect your local practice group to a statewide brand. We have now added to the member profile page a drop-down field where you can select your local practice group and once you save your changes, the CDT website will provide a website hotlink to your practice group web page. This service is only provided for those practice groups with 100% of their members in CDT. This creates greater visibility and faster access by potential clients to your local practice group and more information about you as a Collaborative Divorce Professional. These links back to your practice group website also increase your local practice group’s ranking and visibility on different internet search engines.

And so, here is your to do list to take advantage of these benefits:

  • Log in to your Membership Profile on CDT.
  • Complete or update all of the fields you can on your profile, including your Local Practice Group.
  • Encourage your practice group members to do the same.
  • If your local practice group does not also require membership in CDT, talk with your group about it. You’re missing out!
